The thing with Apple is that they have some control over the 'functionality' ie - the very elegant way iTunes and the iPod are blended into an easy to use system. Dell will never have that for obvious reasons. I have also said they need more design, only evidence of that recently has been the 'suitcase laptop'.. That said, l o n g way to go on that issue, big service issues, and in regard to stores, pretty cheesy 'kiosks' in malls. I think the Apple stores really help them, anytime I've been in one they have been packed. They are also design masterpieces that I simply have trouble imagining Dell will duplicate if they go that route, but who knows. You still think 30 soon??

Regards,
John
