My response was to Sarman's statement that the war was only about WMD. I was not defending the war, as you state, only pointing out his error. If you read the post then you can see the war was not just about WMD. Should you disagree with that so be it. Should you feel a desire to discuss the war :

The war is being fought by American hero's over there and their efforts are being denegrated by gutless politicians over here. The enemy our soldiers are fighting will not stop trying to kill us just because we abandon the fight in Iraq. They will follow our soldiers home and never stop in their attempt to wipe out the USA. Again... should you disagree that is your position and I would say it is your logic that needs examining.

They do not admire our freedoms... quite the contrary, assuming you are a female, they want you in a berka.

So what difference does whether or not we found their WMD ?
