You note some intresting facts of history.

"Hitler blamed all the ills of the world on Jews. So do Muslims. Until Islam comes to grip with this legacy of hatred, Islam and Naziism should be often and openly linked so that the world comes to understand the truth of the origins of this violence."

Good point Ichy. Just for clarity however I notice you said Hitler blamed all the ills of the world on Jews. You qualfify that by pointing out that it was Nazi propoganda. You make known that whole battalions of Muslims fought for Hitler.

Bad deal.

You conclude that Hitler and Muslims consequently have responsibility for the legacy of violence, for blaming all of the ills of the world on Jews.

I'm not sure I go along with the 'all the ills of the world' comment. I believe your account of some Muslim battalians even though I haven't checked into it. There were other minor confederates to Hitler that didn't get much press either. But the major forces that joined Hitler were the German related nations like Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria. The whoppers that joined Hitler were Japan and Italy.

Your conclusion, however, suggests that it could even have been Mylasians who make up 75% of the Muslim populations, and tens of millions of people scattered throughout the world.

I'm just wondering why you said Hitler (one man) and the Muslims (billions). No mention of an Italian or anything. That certainly isn't the picture I get in my mind when I think of World War II.

I know the modern issue between Israelis and Muslims is clearly one blaming the other for the ills of the world. But I don't blame either for the hundreds of thousands of rapes, assaults, murders, and robberies that occur here in the USA each year. I know you weren't thinking that either but can you see how the post kind of suggested something far more than our real experience qualifies.

Actually the conclusion of the post is more like the conclusion some of the folks here seem to suggest only with regards to their attitudes toward Islam (all the ills of the world).

I do agree that the blame a lot of Muslims place on Israel and Jews these days for bad stuff going on is over stated.
