I am against it. I am especially against the idea of a dhimmi system in a government like ours, for obvious reasons that don't need to be enumerated. Anyone who is worried about it is succumbing to unrealistic fears IMO. That is quite different than hosting a large population of people who don't contribute to the running of our government. Which is what happened in the 900 year old system. As has already been discussed, the Jews prospered and were given complete autonomy over their lifestyles, but had to pay the hosts for the costs of the Muslim run system. That is a very different thing. Do you think it is wrong to pay for a stay in the Motel, even though you don't manage the place?
