It was an accommodation. It was an Islamic Government. Do you think Israelies wanted to run Islam 900 years ago, I've seen no evidence of that. Did Israel host subcultures and make them equal to Rabbis in decision making for the running of Israel 900 years ago? Are you arguing American government in Arabia 900 years ago would have been more to your satisfaction... oh good me too. So what? "By this logic the Negroes of the Jim Crow south were fortunate to contribute to the white-run system. It was so nice of the white people to "host" them. That is not the logic and you know it.
