The NYTimes is anti American. It has nothing to do with my agreement or disagreement. They espouse the socialist principles that failed in every country that has implemented them.

Do you remember the concern in the gold market as the UUSR imploded. It was estimated that USSR has millions of ounces of gold and the market was going to be flooded. Oops, the Soviets had sold all the stockpile to finance their corrupt lifestyle.

The NY Times is a big fan of that kind of corruption. When President Bush invited Pinch down for a chat and asked him not to publish a guide for terrorists on how to avoid detection of their financial transactions, his actions stated that bringing down America trumped public interest. There are so many more examples of their anti American actions that several dissertations could be written on the subject.
