Want to also say thank you for your posts on investing philosophy. Have read a lot of books on technical investing, Just finishing up the one by Stan Weinstein (no heckling the novice), have to start somewhere. I have noticed similarities between the knowledgeable posters here (I think they are, and they are more than I) and the book I'm finishing up and others I have read.
I am likening investing and the pursuit of a good investing strategy/plan much like a persons career. You meet and work for people throughout, good or bad, some who really inspire you. Since we are not born with everything necessary to successfully navigate this world, we need to pick and choose the best of what we see, integrate it and develop ourselves.
The more I read and learn about investing, I see the same themes coming up over and over. This is allowing me to refine my approach so that, hopefully, I will reap more benefits than losses.
I appreciate the differences between all as there will always be someone who knows more than I regardless of my age, and there are fewer b'days in front of me than behind.
Again thank you for your posts and I look forward to reading more of them.
Regards
