SARMAN, I've gotten into some wild discussions with American Christians about Jesus's teachings. You wouldn't believe how they twist them to rationalize their behavior. I was raised as a Christian, and attended church every Sunday until I was fourteen, so, I've been steeped in Jesus's teachings. But, I'm a Christian no longer.

Jesus's main theme was the golden rule, to treat others as you would yourself, or really even better. A major sub theme is that the pursuit of wealth is anti-Christian and will make it virtually impossible for you to get to Heaven. What American Christian does these things? Almost none.

To be an actual, practicing Christian is REALLY HARD, in reality, practically impossible. So, our Christians don't really even try. They get forgiven anyway!

As a group, American Christians are the most hypocritical people on earth. I think that's one reason they fear Muslims, is that THEY seem to actually believe and practice their religion, and even receive guidance and comfort from it. It's something American Christians don't have, in the collective.

The REAL religion practiced in America is worshipping Mr. Market and capitalism. The buck is OUR God.
