So...here is a summary of events this week.. ISM non-manufacturing starts the week off on Monday. Tuesdays see final 4Q non-farm productivity and unit labor costs and January pending home sales (leading indicator for existing home sales) and Jan. factory orders. Wednesday sees the ADP national employment report in the morning and the Fed’s Beige Book in the afternoon. Thursday sees the weekly jobless claims. Friday is a busy one, with the Jan. trade balance and Feb. NFP reports due out. Fed Chair Bernanke is speaking on globalization and monetary policy at a conference on Saturday. Other Fed speakers of note are Poole and Warsh on Monday, Plosser on Tuesday; Moskow on Wednesday and Kohn and Kroszner on Friday. US Treasury Sec. Paulson will be in China next week for talks and to deliver a speech on Thursday in Shanghai.
