SOME Democrats really do want to end the war and put some limits on an out of control plutocracy and warfare state.

But all too many of them and most of their big funders are really Bush light. They just want some of the spoils for themselves and their supporters. How can it be otherwise considering the huge sums of money needed to run for office nowadays.

The war continues to rage and there is little prospect the Democrats will make a SERIOUS attempt to end it anytime soon.
