Spent some time on them.... (-: Bob. Thanks for your comments. I spent quite some time deciding which picks to go with. I don't know if they will turn out to be great ones for the contest, but I think all of them will be good movers in the coming months. I debated sticking with a couple of my previous stocks because I still like Sino-Forest (TRE.A on TSE) and Draxis Pharmaceuticals (DAX on TSE). However, I thought that I should give myself more practice in stock-picking so I chose four new ones, but stayed with Founders Energy (FDE) because I have a feeling that its story is yet to unfold. I may try to do a little "report" on these picks for the thread in a week or two if other people are doing so too. I like your picks too. I've been following Wolverine (WVE) and have had it up on my Stockwatch portfolio screen since January... I hope it does well for you. BTW, congratulations... I know Eric hasn't had time to tally the placings yet... but the outcome is rather self-evident... (-: Good luck in Q4. Bev
