Well, that's one way of looking at it, but I don't think it's "over the top" at all, she's a writer, that's a form of entertainment, although more cerebral than talk show hosts... it was intended as a joke, I though it was funny, after all, it does describe his demeanor... as I saw it, she was right on... if it weren't made into such an issue, it would have gone away already, but for a Presidential candidate to make an issue of what someone says tells me more about the candidate... if this guy edwards can't take a joke from an entertainer, then how is he going to stand up to that iranean nut case on behalf of all Americans... I just think he's a girlish wuss and this incident shows it, he's certainly not Presidential material, no doubt about it, and Ann's comment was a great opportunity to see how he handles it... can you imagine Bush demanding an apology for all those dummycrats who have called him much, much worse names over the past 6 years... big deal, so some woman called edwards a name, so now he has to run to the teacher and tell? I think it's all kind of silly, and that would be over the top, if anything...
