Greetings FIX your still active on the thread I see. Just for my own curiousity I've got a couple question. It is of course entirely up to you weither you want to share any insights.
How much does a stock have to go up or down in a day for it to be worth day trading or shorting. I understand for the big traders, the pros if you will, that the spread can be quite small if they have the volumn.
A stock goes up in volumn and price before an announcement and then gets hammer back afterwards, Ive seen it happen with alot of companies, but I dont understand how the pros play thaat when they go long and short, obviously they make money on the way up and down or try to.
I quess what Im asking is where does one learn the ins and outs of shorting and stock manipulation. The longer I watch the market the more I realize how little the average investor knows, myself included.
Any insights would be welcome.
