You just said anyone from Illinois (Obama) must be corrupt. That's not fair at all. I wouldn't be surprised if Obama has a pristine record without a single ethical lapse. It's true Chicago is notorious for party machine politics, but that doesn't mean Obama ever drank any of that Koolaid. In all probability he transcended it.
So if you want charisma, Obama is your man.
And get this, I am sick and tired of Bush-Cheney apologists. They lied, cheat, stole, smeared, misdirected, misinformed, conspired, outed a CIA opeation, enabled gougers and polluters and instead of correcting their ways, they're stonewalling, thumbing their noses and saying they're going to go ahead and continue their wrong-headed quasi-criminal ways no matter what we the people, the courts or congress thinks. This is exactly the opposite of what our Founding Fathers intended the administrative branch to be. Bush-Cheney are acting like selfish tyrants, and incompetent ones at that. I am for their immediate removal from power, and the majority of Americans now agree with me. |
