To all: I'm a small investor(mostly techs) and fairly new to SI, but APM is one of my larger holdings. I was attracted to it as a value play and am in at an average of about 32 1/2. My ability to do technical analysis at this point is not much more than looking at trend lines and attempting to spot support areas...which is why I first put money into this puppy.
If you look at a 5 year chart for APM, this stock is sitting right at a long-term uptrend line...going back to the lows of '95 and '96...it was at this uptrend back in July when it made its big move up from $23. Despite the obvious short-term breakdown in APM, it has not broken the three year up-turn that began in early '95. I know that may be hard to hear if you have been holding since the highs around $60...but it seems obvious to me that this is the case.
Given the clear undervalued nature of APM..I'm hopeful that this will not break down further from this support area. The comments from Mr. Crisman that have been passed on to the thread by those that have taken the time to call him are also encouraging. If we get a decent earnings report, I think this stock will reward all of us that are hanging tough. I've cancelled my stop-loss order I had in at 29...and will ride it out for the time being, perhaps even add to my position.
Anyway, that is my 2 cents worth...thanx for reading...I welcome comments...
