Rove was also a source of Novak's , inconvenient though that may be. What came out at trial was an orchestrated campaign, run out of Cheney's office. Too bad you didn't inform Scooter's lawyer about the CIA conspiracy against Shooter, I'm sure if the jury knew about that they would have let Scooter walk You seem unclear on the concept of "cause" and "effect." Let me spell it out to you: "cause" ccmes first, then "effect." Wilson's lying NYT op-ed was "cause" Rove talking to Novak (who had already learned Plame's id from Armitage) was the "effect". They told Novak the truth, but this is crime when done in service of Republican politics, as we see now.
