Kerry is owed a huge-huge apology by the rightwing of this country. In fact, our country is owed a huge apology by the rightwing in general. There was never anything remotely wrong with Kerry's military record or patriotism. Not even remotely. Just the opposite in fact. A true hero. As opposed to every single major Bushie, none of whom ever had the balls to even get close to combat.

I say those who lied about Kerry's military record are also guilty of treason. They deserve to be condemned for life. But what we really need to do is make those kind of smear campaigns illegal and punishable by 5 years in prison. Rep Conyers has introduced such a bill. If you knowingly lie to the electorate that is election fraud and a felony.

But of course you want to make gross lying to the public legal. Don't you scumbag?
