The Democrats have the perfect set up. They can ignore the fact that they voted for the war, while claiming they would end the war, if they could, but they can't because they have to support the soldiers. In the meantime they get fine publicity, for not supporting the war they voted for. If they have any luck, the war will continue right up to the election, and then they can lose the war on their terms, leave the people of Iraq in the lurch, and help destroy Israel in their first term in office. Coupled with huge raises in taxes, to drive more jobs offshore, and suddenly with the economy in a downturn, they can renege on the $10.00 minimum wage, and give themselves a big raise to help them with the costs of being a politician. No wonder they started the campaign early, they can hardly wait.
