Did you actually read what I posted? I wasn't speaking of protecting wives and children from attack by, say, an intruder or mugger. I was talking about the defense and promotion of the Christian faith. I am denouncing anyone who uses violence as a method of evangelism or apologetics such as the barbaric acts of the Inquisitors or Crusaders or those that burned heretics or supposed witches at the stake. Such people are murderers, for they have no God-given command to put to death by any physical means those who oppose the Gospel.
