If the US government has some reason to believe that the detainees will do what you say if released, then they should share with us (the US public) that evidence. Without any information, I say we should let them go. If there is a good reason to keep them, let us know the basis of the reason

I only read the first article, but you do realize that 10 detainees out of 300 released detainees returning to fight US forces does nothing to prove that the remaining detainees are threats to the US, right? One criminal release from prison and then committing a crime is not a reason to keep all other prisoners locked up. The people in Gitmo are separate individuals, not some interconnected new lifeform.
