The obvious contrast with some of these same folk justifying Clinton's impeachment on the grounds he committed perjury is one we don't need to work over too hard. It just sits there. And is yet one more piece of evidence that for many of them it's all about politics. If you are on our side, you are ok. A good person as the saying goes.

Libby was convicted of perjury and obstruction of justice in a case involving the public disclosure of a CIA agent's identity. Much, much more serious.
