I hope we all live long enough for her to decide whether or not to consider the request valid enough to investigate the desirability of appointing a SP and then to actually do it. That finally gets one appointed; how long will he have to operate to get around, over and through the political obstacle course that will suddenly appear and grow like a forest fire when special interest's toes start getting stepped on. Big Cap co's, brokerage firms, bureaucrats, Senators and Representatives, ad nausem. I'm retiring in 9 years and am NOT going to hold my breath for any serious reform to occur, sham reform in name only maybe, but not anything meaningful.
