It has been proven that the IQ tends to peak while one is in school. It starts to decay as soon as one's intellectual activity is reduced.

That is one reason I enjoy posting on SI's political subjects. Conservatives tend to make one think.

I was surprised that mine had recovered to only 10% less than tested in grade school from one a few years ago that purported to have me down 20%.
