How do you know that the Gitmo detainees are transnational terrorists?

How many times do we have to go over the reasons?

You haven't gone over the reasons for believing that all the Gitmo detainees were transnational terrorists.

The only reason provided is that they were captured in Afghanistan during the invasion to topple the Taliban. I don't believe our invading military at the time had the ability to determine which people in the country at that time were transnational terrorists, and which were something else. Do you?

We've released some Gitmo detainees, and many of them are now in their home country, normal civilians, working in a doughnut shop. That shows that not all of them were "transnational terrorists" when caught, right?

You don't believe every single person in Afghanistan at the time of the US-led Northern Alliance invasion was a transnational terrorist, do you?
