The sad truth is that there is hardly a dime's worth of difference between mainstream "moderate" Islam and fundamentalist Islam. The only measurable difference is if the guys will threaten to kill you for disagreeing.

It's all literal minded. As I said before, scholars to try to reinterpret the Koran or study it in historical context have to do so from the USA to not get killed.

And the Koran says many times "command good and forbid evil"
