Peak will be here, sooner or later. Production has been plateaued for about 18 months. Some people (Deffeyes, Simmons, T.Boone, and maybe Roscoe Bartlett, altho I wasn't sure about his statement) have already called it, but I want to see another test of 85 MBPD.

But, consider this. We use 25% of the world's energy. China and India want to be us. There are 8 times as many of them as there are of us, so we are gonna need 2.25 times what we are now getting for just the 3 of us ( if we keep consumption constant).
Ain't gonna happen.
