I'd be willing to debate this also, for the example mentioned. Considering that the Mogul Caliphate lasted 330 years and ruled over much of India, how do you explain that the state did not force conversion to Islam across the land during those 330 years?

I would love to answer this question, but I'm off on a two week vacation to Kenya and Zanzibar, and I had never heard of any Mogul Caliphate until you brought them up, so I have neither the time nor the information to do it justice, so I will have to pass.....
