As for Obama, I'll take him over Hillary any day of the week. If he is anything like former D.C. mayor Anthony Williams ( en.wikipedia.org ), the Democrats would be stupid not to nominate Obama. I think there are some similarities but there also are some important distinctions. Obama definitely is not "a bureaucrat guy who wears bowties". Can you believe there is not non-stop plane service between Beijing and DC? That really surprised me: "In 2006, he became a member of the Capital-to-Capital Coalition, a group of Washington, D.C.-area businesses and leaders who are dedicated to the establishment of a non-stop passenger air route between Washington Dulles International Airport and Beijing, China."
