Nadine, there is a common thread in many of your postings which suggests to me that you value form over substance.

You frequently focus in on the MEDIA treatment of Israel, the Palestinians, and Hizbullah......as if this made any kind of difference. You seem more concerned with the way the world sees Israel than the reality of Israel.

I notice this strange attitude alot in the J. Post. There's absolutely no discussion of the morality underlying a specific Israeli action but alot of worried commentary on what kind of impact it will have on world opinion.

To me, there seems some kind of strange disconnect in your mind between an event itself and the subsequent media representation and/or criticism of it.

You have complained that the media has failed to point out the successes in Iraq. With the weight of the evidence pointing to failure, what difference does it make whether or not whatever small successes occurred were pointed out.

Do you think the media itself is causing us to lose the war?

I've gotten this impression a few times from certain of your posts.
