Liar. The media is journalistic, not political. Their job is to report the truth. They report equally on both parties for the most part.
Except for Fox News which is clearly and deliberately pro rightwing corporate elite and anti everyone else, and American radio which has 450 rightwing talkers and only about 25 progressives, despite the fact most people in the US now agree with progressives. Those are the two clearly unbalanced parts of our media.
There is no other biased network, although common sense people of all stripes, including conservatives like Joe Scarborough and Pat Buchanon have become damning of Bush-Cheney, but only based on their proven performance; lies, failures, cheating, corruption, etc. Scarborough used to be a Bush supporter, but then he saw what a dishonest cad Bush is, judging on results only. So what's he supposed to do, lie about it? No, because he's a good journalist.
Fox News is the only network which openly lies and deceives the public on purpose. So if you watch them take it with a big grain of salt, especially Mr., Hannity who would easily be right at home in Nazi Germany as a propaganda rabblerouser. In fact Fox News is the only network in TV history which is clearly un-fair and un-balanced.
Their push to claim the Iraq War, WWIII and smear Obama, Kerry and other democrats is disgraceful, and it's one of the reasons their ratings have plummeted. Like Bush, they received the public's trust after 9-11 and they betrayed it badly. |
