Fitzgerald is a Republican appointed by Bush. If he were to be biased he's be biased toward the White House. But the rightwing liars will smear anyone, even one of their own who's trying to do an honest job. Just like the Nazis or Soviets. Today's rightwing has absolutely no ethics in terms of reporting facts or admitting guilt. They will never admit guilt even if they're caught red-handed and convicted unanimously. That's what makes them so un-American.

The Libby jury was harshly scrutinized to make sure there were no jurists who had any opinions whatsoever before the trial.
