He's a pain it's true, but he spreads a lot of good will helping poor folks through Habitat for Humanity. And don't forget, he was one of Clinton's lead negotiators in advance of the Haiti invasion. Remember that one, Clinton led a successful invasion without a single shot being fired and none of our boys got killed. Carter played an important role negotiating the departure of the Haitian despots.

Bush should have taken his cue from Clinton, negotiating the takeover of a country sure has its benefits.
