Here's a report, 'Nickel Market Outlook 2007', 65 pages, only usd22.38 per page -http://www.bharatbook.com/bookdetail.asp?bookid=24221&publisher=
Maybe we could each buy one page, and then coordinate a post-in-series effort, lol ... there was another nickel report i tripped across months ago, they wanted over two thousand english quid for it
I wish i knew which metal was going to perform best in which period, but probably even the people writing reports like that could not accurately predict prices ... if they could, they'd be playing the market, not writing ... what they can do is give you some more fleshed-out idea of what projects are coming online, and what problems they are up against, also consumption trends, etc
Nickel production/consumption is one-seventh the tonnage of zinc, as per links i posted upthread ... 7m tonnes/yr for Zn, 1m tonnes Ni ... a thinner market can be more volatile, small shortage can drive it to the moon, or small surplus tank it hard ... so this is where you really want to know where it's going, and imho you can't know ... so what do you have left, well TA - the trend's your friend, until it bends, and bites you in the end |
