Pilots generaly view things from a simplified, operational perspecitve, not an engineering one. This is good. There is an anectdotal story of Bill Lear modifying the autopilot in his Lear Jet while flying with passengers from Puerto Rico back to the US mainland. His company seemed to have considerable management turnover for some reason. Looks like the A330 has way out sold the 767. There's a good chance the A330 will be picked for a new USAF tanker aircraft. Airbus's very large aircraft - A380 en.wikipedia.org
