>>>War against Evil doers vs. War against Erectile Disfunction.<<<

I forgot about ED. That's where the big strapping guys come out and explain they were surprised that other big strapping guys couldn't get things to work.

>>>I'll bet it annoys the heck out of GW that he's going to have to spend more money on the wounded Veterans from Iraq.<<<

Well, I cannot imagine any Commander-in-Chief of the U. S. Armed Forces intentionally allowing our wounded soldiers to be mistreated in our Army hospitals. I view the episode as an issue of incompetence which this administration displays with each of its efforts.

At the same time, once I saw Powell's presentation before the United Nations, I was convinced that the Administration's stated reasons for invading Iraq were bogus.

In summary, I believe a Commander-in-Chief of the U. S. Armed Forces can lead soldiers into battle on the basis of a political gambit. However, once reality sets in and the broken bodies of our soldiers return, I cannot believe any Commander-in-Chief of the U. S. Armed Forces could be so callous and evil to knowingly neglect them.

>>>wounded Veterans from Iraq<<<

I was listening to a radical right wing radio program last week. If I remember correctly, the host of the show explained that the Washington Post, who uncovered the poor treatment that resulted in immediate action to improve the conditions of our veterans, did it only to embarrass President Bush and his administration. Its a popular show. Well, I for one don't mind an administration being embarrassed if it improves the treatment of our veterans. I cannot understand how anyone would.
