i am afraid Well, I am no bible believer, not that it doesn't have a lot of good things in it which, if applied, will transform the most vile into decent human beings. I know too much about the history of the bible, enough to know that what we read know is an incomplete and politicized document designed to bolster the views of the winners in the theological wars after the death of Jesus. The losers, mostly the Gnostics, had their contributions edited; wonderful stuff, the Gnostic gospels. But I digress. The next two weeks are absolutely critical. They will either show us that the global downdraft of the last ten days was merely a weak introduction into what will truly be a serious market crash or that it was a normal correction and no big deal. I was pondering these issues Friday, with my finger literally on the "sell" button for a substantial part of my portfolio, thinking yes/no, yes/no, she loves me/she loves me not.... I didn't sell. But I am afraid, too. We'll see.
