The earth and it's ice is in a delicate balance. 18,000 years ago it took 0.6 degree warming to melt that ice you're referring to. Now we're talking 2-3 degree warming attributed to human activity (within the next 20 years). You cant tell me that deforestation on a massive scale in Africa and the Amazon aren't going to affect anything. Trees are a great carbon sink. We've lost a lot of that. You can't tell me that 30 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide emitted annually won't affect the climate. Except for a very small minority of vocal detractors, there's universality of agreement among scientists about man's impact on the climate a la global warming.

I'm not here to convince you. You must go do the research and find the credible sources and draw you're own conclusions from them. I'm sure you'll come around.
