OT - TJ, would like to correct your perception in light of your response. Sorry for the rant but I find it amusing.
As being outright anti - Jewish or if one wants to express his deep rooted dislike of the Jews for what ever reason if justified or not is regarded as highly political incorrect or outright as hate crime. (If I recall some one, even very famous chap made a successful movie depicting the crucifixion in a very cruel way and claiming that he reflected the historic truth only to be caught drunk driving and express his real color in the most colorful way)
As a veteran of financial market participant with a knack at taking good position , you should know by now, that the urge and desire to achieve one's means there are plenty of derivative instruments to circumvent the rules and hedge your positions in a quite neutral way.
..... and as such instead to blame the Jews, or those pretending or actually practicing the faith, for all the ills of this universe, to express one's hatred toward this folk which is the foundation of two other religions such as Christianity and Islam, you take a page form the financial derivate world and call them Zionist, Israelis, Neo Con or what ever, which would make it clear as to your intention of expressed hatred and at the same time not wander in the minefield of hate crime or the like
So all in all in all facets of our new global society to the art of engineering various derivatives in all ways of life known to man enables every one to be a law abiding loving creature and freely express his hate through a derivative that the law did not catch up with the ingenuity of human advances.
So hating Zionist or wiping Israel of the Map or the Neo cons or fundamental Islamist or terrorist is still acceptable as it is not yet defined as hate crime.
In summary we still live in the same hateful world as ages ago but grow up to master the world of derivates in an unexpected elegance and skirting the law in hope that our hidden desires would not be noticed by those we do not want.
In summary human creature are the most consciously cruel creatures know to man and the instinct of hate overflows all emotion and rational in such a way that even the worst satanic verses could not compete with reality.
After some travel around the world the issue of the dislike of the Jews, I very much suspect, has to do with the introduction of the 10 commandments which put so many limitation on the humble human behavior which to often is not human and as such drives the displeasure to abide to those rule and directly express the frustration which quickly evolves in hatred to the same folk that introduced those commandments, to the so called civilized world.
So best solution would be to live as the folks of the Babylon Tower or the famous twin cities on the Dead Sea shores and satisfy the forbiden passions..... after all also the oldest profession to satisfy our hidden desires was first established there as a commercial enterprise |
