ARIZONA BULLETIN OF MINES & MINERALS
Gov Hull Expected to Convene Grand Jury =======================================
It is widely rumored that the governor will ask the A.G. to convene a grand jury to investigate a group of stock swindlers called "Desert Dirts." "These people come here from out of town and infect our local miners and stock dealers with wild yarns of precious metals to be found everywhere they can stake a claim." Hull said Oct 1. (see related story) "The worst of these criminals is doubtlessly International Precious Metals which actually found a judge crooked enough to grant an order blocking the Arizona Dept. of Mines and Mineral Resources from revealing the truth about IPM -- they are simply criminals running a felonious fraud".
Local Newspersons Tackle Stock Fraud ====================================
A group of newspersons from TV and paper media have joined to combat prnny stock swindles engaged in the most massive, and obvious, crime wave to hit Arizona since the land frauds of the 60's. Jim Fickus of the Arizona Business Gazette has chosen Maxam as his favorite hoax. "Dale Runyon claims to have a huge plant to process gold reserves ranging from the Black Rock or Coyote Springs all the way to the Vekol Valley. Its just dirt with inflated assays and a stock scam run by crooked brokers", Fickus said.
Rick DeBruhl of Channel 12 TV (NBC) is working to expose International Platinum which changed its name to International Precious Metals after they were delisted by the Toronto Stock Exchange. "Their speciality was platinum ore which was planted by 'Salty' Sam Shaw of Behre Dolbear of Denver. It's just sand with inflated assays and a stock scam run by crooked brokers", DeBruhl said.
Bob Dunne of the Business Gazette has chosen MGAU, the successor to Mariah Gold, a cinder-scam long run by Mesa's Ponzi expert Billie Allred who buys gold on the open market and claims he 'refined" it! Billie Allred also was auditor of Alanco, and CFO of Arizona's largest swindle IPMC, and other confidence games. "It's just cinders with inflated assays and a stock fraud run by crooked brokers", Dunne said.
Dan Davis of channel 3 TV (ABC) is specializing in GPGI, a 100 % swindle run by Richard Jensen of Salt Lake City, who is well known to channel 3. "Jensen busts open old catalytic convertors and pours out the platinum crystals and then claims he 'mined' them! Claims $5 billion of reserves! It'd just mud with inflated assays and a penny stock fraud run by crooked brokers", Davis said.
There are other flim-flams with ties to Arizona, including Delgratia, Phoenix International Mining, Peoria 7, Uranco and even CHIPS and Naxos but these are all under current investigation by authorities and at least one, Solvex, recently filed in bankruptcy court for protection from creditors. Others, like Alanco, become zombies and live forever, perhaps selling french fries like Sky Scientific or Montana Precision Mining or Harvard Industries or tasty fries.
