I don't disagree. But there is another element and that's credibility. While they push the right wing stuff, their PR offices and many of their anchors keep pushing the "fair and balanced" stuff simply to have credibility as something more than a PR outlet. Should they lose that credibility with the general audience, market share would suffer some.

It's a problem. For them.
