XLNX doesn't really interest me at the current price.

But if it were to drop 20% or so and I were feeling comfortable owning it below 20, probably in order to write calls against it, I would just sell a 20 put to start out. I rarely short the stocks but often wish I had <g>.

I like to try and get a buck or better for most short puts that I write, or maybe $1.50 or more for stocks over 40-50, and try and write with 4-5 weeks to go. IMO this week is an ideal time to write April puts for those so inclined.
