This is the SOTK product line that I expect will see the additional demand from the next generation stents: MediCoat for stent coating - A table-top, fully-contained system designed to apply thin layers of polymer and drug coatings to arterial stents with high precision. The system incorporates motion control of the stent during the coating process and produces coatings having excellent uniformity. The MediCoat uses either the Accumist or MicroMist nozzle systems, which are precision nozzle configurations used in applications where precise patterns of lines and dots are required.
