As I pointed out before, the problem we have now is that leftwing media IS slowly building momentum AGAINST Israel, while absolute stonewalling on rational discussion is the response form the rightwing, especially security fields. This is not a good dynamic situation IMO. "momentum" - such a neutral word. Yes, only right-wingnuts could see anything wrong or stupid about jetissonning as an ally the only fellow democracy in the Mideast, the only first class regional working military, the only one who can be counted on to reliably oppose Mideast terror. The momentum is building is this: if the Arabs are so obsessed with destroying Israel, let them at it. No skin off our nose. That's it. You get to the bottom, and that's it. Various neo-marxist judgments on Israel's behavior are imo the effect of the motivation, not the cause. I have only one question for the day after we jettison Israel: what country in their right mind would ever want to ally with the US again?
