The reason Democrats aren't trusted on national defense is entirely the Democrats making. They've tried to prevent the govt from tracking intl terrorist finances, from listening to phone calls to foreign terrorists, to get terrorists captured on the battle field released. I remember the Democrats who went to Baghdad before the war to make common cause with Saddam.
