You are 1,000% right jlallen. If anything, high ranking government employees/officials should be held to the highest standards, particularly when responding to questions during an investigation. The hand slaps given to Clinton & Berger made a mockery of the laws covering perjury & obstruction of justice. The message they sent to the public was that there's nothing to worry about if you lie during an investigation to save your ass or cover up for someone else because little or nothing will ever happen to you. And believe me, it's hard enough gathering evidence to convict when the fear of prosecution for perjury has real teeth. Those scumbags made it considerably harder for law enforcement to do their jobs.
