It's a percentages thingy ted. Something liberals fail at. You know, like Exxon's 10% profit is evil compared to Microsoft's 30% profit.

First I have said in the past that XOM's profit margins are not outrageous. Howver, I can see why people go after it, and not MSFT:

How many people need XP; how many people need gas for their cars, diesel fuel for their buses, heating oil for their houses?

Profit gouging is gouging no matter the industry but the impact on consumers can vary dramatically from one industry to the next. And there is only one MSFT but there are close to ten XOM's.

I wonder if you would bring up MSFT if it were owned by a Walmart.
