true.....so I could get that .95 hedge but I would be risking having to buy it at $40, if it drops to $20, so the hedge is not worth the possible risk, correct?

But still...I always write puts on stocks I wouldnt mind owning......thats how I aquire alot of my stocks...rather then buying the stock, i just sell puts and collect the premium until I am assigned shares....
