On March 13, 2007, the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. a Certificate of Extension for U.S. Patent No. 5,780,454 covering VELCADE® (bortezomib) for Injection. The Certificate of Extension extends the patent coverage for VELCADE from 2014 until May 3, 2017.
