Before whining about coastal erosion, some education might help. Anyone who attended middle school classes on natural sciences knows that the planet undergoes continuous cycle of land transformation - mountain ridges pile up as result of tectonic plates tension, then mountains erode gradually over millions of years, with soil forming downstreams of rivers, and coastal erosion finishes the cycle into sea deposits. Then it starts over again, in some other place on Earth. It did occur for billions of years, and it will continue regardless of green agenda, with no exceptions, be it England or Florida, whether you try to "deal" with it or not.

We all had the natural sciences in school but thanks for the update. What I think you might have missed were the classes discussing math. You see the degradation of earth's coast lines; the warming of its oceans, the melting of its glaciers is not happening "over millions of years" but over decades. So, the fact that the process is happening is not what has knowledgeable people concerned but rather that its happening at such a rapid pace in earth terms.

Maybe YOU should try to deal with that.
