hubris and your hubris,
i've been here all along...i just thought it'd be funny for the TRE guy to say he had a nice day today while most other metals shares were getting killed...
i beg you to check out the latest company developments, listen to the agm, check out the company's website again....and you will find that TRE has had JV partners for the last 5 or so years...recently added a new JV partner sloane developments...several chinese investors are interested in the nickel properties under TRE's hold...the company recently opened an office in beijing and is now preparing a package on the nickel properties to present to interested parties...
TRE generates cash in the form of "return of expenses" on their balance sheets...when the company enters into option agreements with JV partners, the company receives payments from the JV partner for rents on the property and has to pledge a minimum amount of exploration work and dollars for the specified time period, and other required obligations...
it might behoove you to further take a look into and understand the fundamentals in how/why Sinclair structured this company...it is a very savvy approach...
i bought more TRE last week...and no, i didn't sell today to answer your forthcoming question...
i have invested in GSS in the meantime as well...TRE is not my only stock...i also hold (off and on) SA, AUY, SLW, EGO, FRG, and PLM...
what does Sinclair know about geology and drilling, etc.? probably a little more than you may think...not that he's an expert per se, but that's why he has john deane, the company's president and chief geologist, and a solid board of directors with a wealth of project management, deal-making, mining, and exploration experience...
did you buy GSS when it was a laggard in the low 2s?
will you be the one happy to proclaim when TRE is someday in double digits, that you bought it when it was a laggard in the low 5s? |
